Dr. Jack Leeb, whose office is located in Columbia, MD is a police and public safety psychologist who has offered specialized services including officer candidate assessments, psychological fitness for duty evaluations, critical incident stress debriefings, consultation, and training to local, regional, and federal public safety agencies in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast for the past 30 years. He currently consults with numerous agencies in Maryland, with the Department of the Treasury, and with the National Institutes of Health, and has consulted at various times with the FBI, the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, and agencies in Iowa, New Jersey, and New York, including the United Nations.
Dr. Leeb is a certified Force Science Analyst and is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Psychological Services Section, the Maryland Chiefs of Police and Sheriffs Association, and the American Psychological Association. Dr. Leeb is also a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association, is certified as a Law Enforcement Trainer by the Maryland Public Safety Training Commission, is a member of The International Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors Association, and is a certified firearms instructor. Dr. Leeb has presented training programs at a variety of public safety-related professional meetings, including the Maryland Chiefs of Police and Sheriffs Association Training Conference, the Maryland Municipal League Police Executive Association Professional Development Conference, the University of Maryland College Park Police Training Academy, the Prince George’s County Chiefs of Police Association, and the New Jersey Chiefs of Police Association, among others.
